Travel France Few places capture my heart and soul like Pornic,
a simple quiet port on the Atlantic ocean where my best friend Andre
and his family live.
I also enjoy the stubborness of the Basques on both sides of the border. In April 2000, I biked in and out of Spain on mountain passes. Bourgogne Randonees provided the bike, Tom and Mary provided the itinerary, cheers and good humor, and off we went. We biked through some beautiful cities including St Jean Pied de Porc, Biarritz, St Jean de Luz. In Biarritz, stop at Henriet for the best chocolate in the region. In St Jean de Luz, buy macarons at la Maison Adam, founded in 1660. |
